in Things I Love, Trash To Treasure

I am going to have some drunk hummingbirds buzzing around! I saw these online and had to try it! My friend had friend that had a friend (haha) that works in a bar and they saved us some bottles, lots of bottles. I love the liquor bottles just plain and simple but she painted some of the wine bottles with flowers and added beads etc. they are adorable.

What I did is cleaned the inside with dishwashing liquid and water and let them air dry. Spray painted the labels with clear Krylon Gloss Spray 2-3 coats to help preserve the labels. Allow that to dry and to the Jack Daniels bottle I glued the hook on the top using E-6000  glue the other bottle wire is twisted around the bottle and top to create a hoop for hanging. Trust me when it says to allow the glue to dry 48 hours or more that is what it means. I made the liquid with water and sugar boiled on the stove and colored with brown and red food coloring. Use the Hummingbird Feeder Tubes For Making Your Own Feeders (Pkg of 12) available at Amazon and viola a cute little hummingbird feeder.
