Peanut Butter Brownie Cupcakes

Tonight I am going to a Pinterest Party~you need to bring an item prepared from a recipe you found on Pinterest and take a craft to work on....I am so excited, we are going to have fun. So this is what I am taking.

We love peanut butter around here even if the price per ounce is equal to an ounce of gold. These cupcake are so rich and delicious. You are going to love them.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Duncan Hines Brownie Mix prepared as instructed on the box
  • 12-16 Reeses miniatures
  • Icing:
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 3 teaspoons or more of milk
  • 12-16 Reeses Miniatures
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Fill cupcake liners 2/3 the way full bake 20-23 minutes
  • Press 1 Reese cup into the batter
  • Allow to cook completely
  • Prepare icing and ice away
  • Top with 1 Reeses Miniature to each cupcake

These were inspired by a pin I found on Pinterest at Six Sister’s Stuff I didn’t add the ganache but they are so rich, I don’t think they need it. But this recipe got me thinking about another peanut butter dessert we love around here and can fancy that one up and make some cupcakes …I bet!
